Join us for the first session in SMPS West Michigan's two-part Summer Series: Storytelling in A/E/C.

In Connecting the Plot Points: Strategy and Storytelling in Proposals and Qualifications, Holly Bolton, FSMPS, CPSM, will explore how strategic messaging and storytelling principles can transform proposals and qualifications from collections of information into compelling narratives. Attendees will gain insights into creating meaningful content that connects with clients, highlights value, and helps submissions stand out from the stack.

Speaker Bio
Holly Bolton, FSMPS, CPSM, Owner, 3chord Marketing

A self-proclaimed word nerd, Holly Bolton, FSMPS, CPSM, has spent nearly 25 years helping architecture, engineering, and construction firms communicate more effectively. As owner of 3chord Marketing, she helps A/E/C organizations better understand and connect with their audiences through strategy, storytelling, and skills development.

Throughout her career, Holly has served in marketing, business development, and corporate communications roles for architecture and engineering firms. She is a past president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), serving as the Society's 2022–2023 President, and has also served as president of both the SMPS Foundation and SMPS Indiana. Holly holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Central Missouri. When she's not helping firms tell better stories, she enjoys exploring U.S. national parks and trails with her husband.
